West End is where I live. I’ve been living in the area now for almost ten years, and if I were a tourist, this is a place I would surely visit. Last Sunday C and I went on a brief tour of West End, snapping some nice new street art along the way.
For those who don’t know me, I’m one of those people who takes photos of street art when I’m on holidays, much to the perturbment of my family. They want to see photos of me standing next to <insert landmark here>.
While I do visit the famous landmarks of whatever country I’m in, I almost always end up exploring the streets, trying to find the queer and hippie ghettos. Partly because these places almost always have a good vegetarian restaurant, but also because these are the places where there are signs of life, scribbled all over walls and tiny little laneways.
